We’re the White family — Mum, Dad, and three adventurous boys — travelling the world together and turning the globe into our classroom. This site is where we share our journey: honest reviews of the hotels and places we stay, kid-friendly travel tips, and the stories (and chaos!) that come with exploring the world as a family of five.

Our story
We first met in our late teens at school and have been inseparable ever since. Over the years we’ve built a life together in Dorset, UK — getting married, welcoming three beautiful boys, and building a successful marketing business that was acquired by private equity in 2023.
For all the stability and success, something was missing. We realised we had been so focused on building a business and raising a young family that we had put off one of our biggest dreams: travelling the world together.
Earlier this year, we had a wake-up call — life is too short to keep postponing the things that matter most. While there were plenty of fears and doubts along the way (the biggest being how to manage schooling for our children), we realised that with the rise of home schooling and the world more connected than ever, we could turn the world itself into their classroom.
We believe this journey will give our children a richer and broader education — experiencing cultures, perspectives, and ways of life that can’t be found in books alone.
With Tiz’s love for being on camera, Tom’s background in marketing and our shared passion for film and photography, we’re bringing our skills together to document this adventure in a way that we feel is inspiring, honest, and beautifully told.
Our aim is simple: to inspire other families — whether they’re dreaming of a short getaway or considering a bigger leap — to embrace the joy of travel and the freedom of exploring the world together.

Our Inspiration & Mission
For years we dreamed of exploring the world as a family — of breaking free from routines, experiencing new cultures, and showing our boys that the best lessons aren’t always found in classrooms, but in the places, people, and moments we encounter along the way.
Our inspiration comes from a simple belief: life is too short to put off what matters most. Travel has always been a “someday” dream for us, until we realised that someday isn’t guaranteed. So we decided to take the leap — to live more freely, love more openly, and learn more deeply, together.
Our mission is to share that journey honestly — the highs and the chaos — while creating thoughtful guides, hotel reviews, and kid-friendly tips that inspire other families to travel in their own way. Whether it’s a weekend away or a year-long adventure, we want to encourage parents to believe that family travel is possible, rewarding, and unforgettable.
